Name:
Genome-wide analysis of miRNAs in Centella asiatica
Short Description:
Centella asiatica (L.) Urb. is one of the most widely used medicinal plants. Various reports suggest role of miRNAs in regulating the biosynthesis and accumulation of secondary metabolites in plants. The possible relation between asiaticoside biosynthesis and miRNA regulation is still unclear. The present study is the first attempt to profile miRNAs in C. asiatica using Illumina HiSeq 2500 High-throughput sRNA sequencing.
