Angelica acutiloba: Genetic diversity and population structure of Wild Angelica acutiloba, A acutiloba subsp iwatensis, and their hybrids by atpF-atpA intergenic spacer in chloroplast DNA and genome-wide SNP analysis using MIG-seq
Short Description:

In Chubu region of central Japan main island, Angelica acutiloba grows on riverbeds in mountainous areas, while A. acutiloba subsp. iwatensis grows on slope near mountain ridges of above 1000 m above sea level or on constantly collapsing slope in valleys. For the collected specimens of two wild Angelica species, we determined the maternal lineage by DNA polymorphism analysis of the atpF-atpA region for cpDNA using direct sequencing and genomic component analysis by genome-wide SNP using MIG-seq. Finally, we discussed the advance of the combined method of cpDNA and genome-wide SNP analyses for determining inter- and interspecific genetic characters of two wild Angelica species.
